Oliver Nature Park in Mansfield Texas

A Simple Afternoon Out

AAaagggghhh,

So my family was in the dreaded “quarantine“.

We were at the end of it, but still not back to work or school.

I had been home with my son all week. We had done the usual outside…basketball, scooter, skateboard, swimming. As well as online school and of course, “screen time”.

We needed some fresh air, we needed an open environment and since we were recovering, we also needed easy. That’s what I love about this park.

It’s big, but it’s not complicated.

First off, we love this park…

Nature abounds here.

On this easy hike we listened to a plethora of birds, saw several lizards, and just enjoyed getting some easy exercise, quality time and fresh air…

a highly treasured commodity!

We had to get out of the house.  We couldn’t go far, this was an IMPROPMTU trip.

It was such a perfect place to unwind, take a walk and spend time enjoying nature with my son.

I’ll admit upfront, the photos I got that day were “subpar” at best. But here they are anyway.
